Yes, a new blog post… FINALLY. I wish I could say, “Oh, i’ve just been so durn busy with everything!” And I have, but not so busy that I can’t take the five minutes to write a blog. I really wish I was knitting something to show you, but sadly I haven’t the time for knitting in awhile (this is true). I had auditions for our play “The Odd Couple [female version]” last week. I scored the part of Mickey, a policewoman. So, that’s one resolution that I have been unable to fulfill… just like my blogging. X_X
My boyfriend and I broke up a week ago, for anyone who was wondering how that was going… It’s not a terribly big deal.. though, I do have to say, I feel like a complete meanie for doing this to him… again. Yes, again. But I’m positive I won’t initiate anything anymore with him. I have learned my lesson and am moving on with my life…
Anywho.. My flute practicing is going okay… I guess. xD My friend (who plays flute in band, whilst I play trumpet) totally dissed me today though… I borrowed my other “friend”’s flute because we were just messing around, and she was complaining because she got her braces back on a week or so ago and now she can’t play as well. She said something like, “I don’t want to sound like her [points to me], Airy and junk.” I mean.. yeah, I know I’m not the best, and I constantly say that, but shouldn’t she be a little nicer? I started like a month ago and she’s been playing for 6 years now. Personally, I think I sound decent for someone who just started. But I digress.

Grah, people can be so rude. Like when we were rehearsing before the youth service at my church started. We were singing a song and this one girl was getting some of us to sing one line, and other to sing another line, and then all of us would sing the rest together. I was singing quietly, so she said, “Sam, are you even singing?” I yelled at her and walked out :p But I participated in the service, and we wound up scrapping the whole singing in parts thing. We just sang the whole thing together.
…I’m so glad that she’s been away this semester.
pfft… People can be rude, but sometimes my friend (especially in band) will act superior to everyone, and i’m not saying she isn’t good, cuz she’s prolly one of the best ones in band, but she rubs off that way. and she says she doesn’t mean to, but w/e.
